Dr Fenghui Ren received his Ph.D. (2010) and MCompSc-Res (2006) degrees from the University of Wollongong (UOW), and received his BCompSc (2003) from the Xidian University. He current works in the School of Computing and Information Science at UOW as an ARC DECRA Fellow.

Dr Ren’s major research areas include agent and multi-agent systems, decision support systems, agent-based modelling and simulation, data mining and pattern discovery, and agent-based learning, negotiation and coordination. Dr Ren is an active early career researcher. Up to date, he has published over 50 research papers, serviced up to 30 international conferences, workshops and journals and jointly organised several international workshops. He currently supervises 4 PhD candidates, and had completed a PhD candidate in Dec. 2013.
